Sicily Jacob is the first daughter of Mr. T.C.Thomas an accountant of erstwhile British owned Tea Estate in Tamil Nadu and Late Thankamma Thomas, who was a devout housewife and social worker. She has a sister, Mrs. Mary George working for Syndicate Bank In India. Sicily Jacob is married to Mr. M. Jacob and blessed with two children – Jessy & Sujil.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Education along with years of experience tutoring students in Africa & India. In the early 1980’s, she chose to further contribute to society by becoming a full-time social worker. She has over the last three decades actively represented various International and Regional charitable organization in their activities. Over the course of her activities she has met and discussed Projects with many important dignitaries including Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Sicily Jacob pursued her keen interest in Theology by obtaining a diploma in theological studies, awarded by the Lagos Anglican Bible School. She also has a vested interest in Gardening & Cooking.
